Calculating the area of a rectangle is easy, if you know the right formula.
The formula to find the area of a triangle is (b)ase x (h)eight = area. Where “b” and “h” refer to the base and the height respectively.
Here is an illustration to help you visualize:

So, if the base is 6 and the height is 4, we find the area of this rectangle by multiplying 6 x 4 = 24.
