How to Find the Circumference of a Circle

Calculating the circumference of a circle is easy, if you know the right formula.

The formula to find the circumference of a circle is:

πd

Where d is the diameter of the circle (twice the length of the radius or 2r)

and π is 3.14

Here is an illustration to help you visualize how to find the circumference of a circle:

So, if the diameter of the circle is 5. We can calculate the circumference of the circle by:
5 x 3.14 = 15.7

If the RADIUS is 8, then we can calculate the circumference by multiplying 2 x 8 x 3.14 = 50.24
