SAT / ACT Tutoring

I have been tutoring students for the SAT and the ACT for the last 11 years. I like to work with students to see the best strategy for taking each test. I work with actual SAT tests written by the Collegeboard and work with actual ACT tests written by the makers of the ACT. The SAT lasts 3 hrs and 45 minutes. Some students like to work on a particular section while others need to practice in all 3 sections (Critical Reading, Math, Writing). The SAT is out of 2400 points with a mandatory 25 minute essay. The ACT is out of 36 points and offers a 30 minute optional essay. (The UC & many private schools want that “optional essay.”
